BetPro Exchange is a dealer desk in Lahore. We open betting accounts by hand, settle money in rupees and answer the phone at three in the morning. Ten years in, that is still the whole business.

Ten years of doing it the slow way.
We started in 2016 with one master account and a phone. The exchanges were glad to take money from Pakistan, but nobody wanted to answer questions in Urdu at midnight and nobody wanted to settle in rupees. That gap turned out to be the whole business.
For the first two years it was three of us in a room above a print shop in Gulberg, opening accounts one message at a time. We still open them the same way. The only thing that has changed is how many.
Today the desk runs about 22,000 player accounts and 5,000 dealer accounts underneath them. We have never opened an account for someone we could not reach, and we have never held a payout longer than it took to check it.
We are not a platform and we have no ambition to become one. A platform is a form and a queue. A dealer is a person who knows your name and picks up when you call.

Three rules we do not bend.
Answer first
Every message gets a human reply before it gets a solution. Silence is the thing people hate most, and it costs nothing to fix.
Settle fast
A payout that takes a day is a payout you end up arguing about. Ours clear in under ten minutes, which is the only reliable way to avoid the argument.
Say no clearly
If somebody should not be opening an account, we tell them so. We would rather lose the deposit than manage the problem six months later.
